UMDF Washington D.C. Symposium

This year the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation hosted the 2015 symposium in Washington, D.C. This year Dad and I had the opportunity to go with Rachel and Mom. We spent a few extra days before the symposium started, spending the days sightseeing all around Washington, D.C. ! Check out our pictures from our sightseeing outings, and from the symposium!

While sightseeing we visited the following places, a lot that meant so very much for us as Americans, and to remember those we knew and never met, who have fallen:

  • National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial
  • National Air & Space Museum
  • Lincoln Memorial
  • Korean War Memorial
  • Vietnam War Memorial
  • Constitution Gardens
  • Constitution Gardens Lake
  • Reflecting Pool
  • Washington Monument
  • Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial
  • Thomas Jefferson Memorial
  • Lafayette Square
  • The White House
  • United States Capitol
  • Verizon Center
  • Dirksen Senate Office Building
  • Hart Senate Office Building
  • Cannon House Office Building
